FAQ
Common questions about websites.
Do I need a new website, or can you fix my existing one?
Not always — if the platform and hosting are solid, a redesign can fix a dated look without a full rebuild. I'll tell you honestly which one you actually need after a quick audit, before you pay for more than necessary.
How fast will my new site load?
Every site I build is held to a 95+ Lighthouse performance score, not as a nice-to-have but as a deliverable. Most hand-built sites load in under a second, which matters for both visitors and search rankings.
Do you build on WordPress or something else?
I build hand-coded sites by default because they're faster and have no plugins to maintain, but WordPress is a real option if that's what your team is comfortable managing. The platform should fit how you work, not the other way around.
Will you migrate my existing content?
Yes — migrating your existing pages, images, and copy is part of every website project, not a separate line item. I'll also clean up anything that's outdated along the way.
How long does a website project take?
Most builds run a few weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on how much custom functionality is involved. I'll give you a real timeline once I know the scope, not a placeholder estimate.
What happens after my site launches?
I don't disappear after launch — hosting and care plans keep the site backed up, monitored, and updated, and I'm the same person you'd call if anything breaks.
